The controlling body of Norpubs Pty Ltd is Owner/Director Mr Paul Casey.

Mr Paul Casey completed his trade as a Fitter at the same time working as a glass collector at the Vale Hotel in 1982, going on to be the Friday Night Manager. In 1987 Paul started as the Assistant Manager at the Rising Sun Hotel going on to become the Venue Manager in 1988. Paul and Jo Anne Casey took over the lease of the Rising Sun Hotel in 1994, purchasing the Hermit Park Hotel in 2003 and selling the lease of the Rising Sun in 2004. In August 2004 they purchased the Midtown Hotel going on to create Townsville's first ever Bar / Bistro / Deli - Casey's Deli Plus.

In November 2004 they purchased the lease at the Centenary Hotel then purchasing the freehold in 2006. They sold Casey's Deli Plus in May 2007 and have now created a very family friendly hotel with the introduction of Townsville's only Jumping Pillow.
